Well, I know this is late but I have just got my film back from BLEND not because it took RPL this long to do it, it just took me this long to send it in.  I wanted to send in about 20 rolls at a time so I had a lot to shoot!  I have been so excited shooting film, it has brought back the fire and passion to photography again and for that I am so thankful.  This is fuji 400 shot at 200 and Ilford 3200 shot at 1600.  Film just looks like the way I want it to the first time!

gotta admire that you are using film in a digital age--i may just have to try it! looks great and has a depth that digital can't quite get.

A few weeks ago I went to the hills of Ladera Ranch to shoot little JD.  I made the choice to only shoot my Contax 645 and fuji pro 400.  I am so excited about the way these images look.  I swear when RPL let me know that my film was ready I got excited like a little kid on Christmas morning.  I could not wait to see each individual images and I was blown away at how they look.  These are all totally unedited and straight from RPL.  Would love to hear some photographers thoughts on the film.

These pictures are sooo adorable! I'm no photographer, but capturing the cuteness of a little boy who probably just wants to run around and play and not hold still probably isn't easy - great job!!!

I usually do not do senior portraits but last week Jamie a friend of mine from church asked me if I would like to go and do hers, and I said absolutely.  Jamie is such a cool girl and has a great little style.  I had the freedom to do what I wanted and Jamie was such a blast to shoot.  We went down to San Juan Capistrano and shot around.  I wanted to make them look like senior portraits that I have never seen before and that would rock in the Yearbook.

Check em out!!

This last Saturday I had the pleasure of working with D*LSH on a shoot for an upcoming project that they have going on.  If you have never checked their site out I think that you are missing out!  They do such amazing work and are so much fun to work with.  I want to thank Robin Dunn for doing hair and Anha Nguyen for the make up.  Also we had Pegah Sasani designing the wardrobe and the models were Hollly and Ericka who were amazing to shoot!

Check it out!
