Welcome to my blog!
My name is Jeffrey Neal and I am an Orange County Photographer!

This is where you can see all that I am doing in the world of photography!  On my blog you will find the latest images from all the shoots that I have, information for my clients and any other crazy ideas or projects that I have.
I have to admit that film is my favorite medium to shoot on, and I am pretty sure that it is evident from my branding and all the posts I do on film.  These are just some random shots from some film I have shot over the last few months.  The first shot of me was taken by Eliesa from Photogen Inc in MN.  Others are from Vegas and the dessert and a few from a wedding back in March.

For those who want to know what I was shooting
Ilford 3200
Fuji Neopan 400 B/W

I am sure that you can tell which is which!

The other day I had the privilege to shoot this amazing little girl Ella right down the street from my house and had such a blast.  I do not normally shoot little kids but this little girl was so cute and so much fun to shoot.  Who knows maybe I should start shooting some kids portraits??  Maybe a book of all the kids in Robinson Ranch?  Let me know your thoughts.

I have been listening to music more when I shoot as a way to get my mind in a place that is not over thinking things.  I find that I do my best work when my mind is free to play and not thinking about the things that are going on out side of whatever shoot I am doing.  Music helps me to really zone in and create the chemistry that I need with my subject and to my surprise really gets us both on the same page.

I went out yesterday to do a promo shoot for my good friend and hair stylist for her new website.  Robin pretty much styles any shoot that I do where I need hair done.  Here are a few from the day!

More from The American Craft Brewer project.  On tuesday I headed down to San Diego with Redtail Media to do some more killer portraits of some of San Diego's finest brewers.  This project just keeps me so inspired and forcing me to push myself every shot.  The stories of each one of these brewers and their passion to create an experience with beer is equally as inspiring as shooting them.  I know that I posted some videos on twitter so here are some of the shots that I got from the day.

No beer was hurt during the making of these shoots.  All beer used had gone bad or was not up to standards.  Just FYI.
