I have been so excited to shoot Ashley and Ross' engagement session. Ashley and Ross were the winners of my 2010 Wedding Giveaway and are such a deserving couple. I had such a great time shooting with them and getting to know them. We started in downtown Santa Ana where I am having my workshop in a few weeks and then ended up at Crystal Cove in Newport Beach. I am so looking forward to their wedding in June at the Newport Beach Marriott.

I was so stoked when I heard that my good friends Aaron Dieppa and Brian Khang were starting this new website to give our industry a place to learn about what is going on both socially and with business. This is a place not only for photographers but to all in the wedding industry to find out "Where it's at" and what is going on in our industry. I know that I have missed opportunities just because I did not know that something was happening and now there is a place to get the scoop about everything that is taking place so that we can network, learn and grow our businesses the way we want to. I really do love the AGWPJA and the WPJA and find them to be a great place to reach potential brides. I have been with them for about three years now and get a substantial amount of my weddings from these sites. If you would like to check them out here they are WPJA and the AGWPJA.
I was stoked to find out one of my images placed in the 3rd quarter contest! I always think I am going to win, or I would not have entered the image, but with so many talented photographers out there it is always such a nice surprise to have others be inspired by your work. Here is the image that placed in the category for "Emotion". This was from Kim and Johnny's wedding at the Langham Huntington Pasadena, back in June. This venue is one of my favorite places to shoot weddings at, it is like a wedding photographers dream. Enjoy.
