Welcome to my blog!
My name is Jeffrey Neal and I am an Orange County Photographer!

This is where you can see all that I am doing in the world of photography!  On my blog you will find the latest images from all the shoots that I have, information for my clients and any other crazy ideas or projects that I have.
Wow!  What an amazing trip this past week has been.  My wife and I have been in Africa, specifically Uganda, with our church.  We have been helping at our friends, the Emuku's, church and hospital.  I have to admit I was very anxious this time to go to Africa as I went in between weddings and during a very busy season.  I had not really had the time to think about the trip and all the exciting things we would get to do and the amazing people we would come in contact with.  Once I got here I immediately remembered why I came.

We have have been so blessed just getting to serve others and be a part of the amazing work that God is doing in Midigo Uganda.  This last February they were able to open up the only surgery center in Midigo which was a huge deal.  On Sunday I was privileged to watch and shoot the birth of a beautiful little girl who was born by c-section.  Had the surgery center not been there both her and the baby would have died.  So needless to say it is so exciting to know that there is now this place in Midigo that is saving peoples lives.

I am sure I will post more but I just want to post some of my favorite images of the young ones that so touched our lives this last week.

I think this is pretty cool!  I am sitting in my hotel room in Uganda, it is 3:35a and I am blogging a wedding.  This is my second time in Uganda and I must say that I love it here.  My wife and I are here serving with our church until the 5th of August.  There is such excitement to see all the kids again and spend this next week being a part of their world.

The day before I left I shot Vanessa and Gilbert's amazing wedding at the Millennium Biltmore in L.A.  I have been looking forward to their wedding for quite some time.  I have shot at the Millennium Biltmore before and knew that it had great places to take wedding pictures.  I had not really had the chance to get to know them but once we did their engagement session I knew that they would be so much fun to shoot with.  Vanessa had an amazing and beautiful Ines Di Santo wedding dress that really was so much fun to shoot.  I think my favorite part of the day was when they were announced as a couple for the first time in the church, a mariachi band led them out of the church.  How cool.

Thank you Vanessa and Gilbert have an amazing time in Dubai!!

I promise to add all the vendors as soon as I get home so you can see the amazing team that put this wedding together.

Ok, I have to share this with you!  A few weeks ago I shot a very unique and cute wedding with Mark Brooke.  This wedding was very artsy and had a very "one of a kind" feel to it.  On the Queen Mary you are not allowed to sprinkle flowers every where so Tiffany being such a creative bride thought, "lets give them pinwheels"!  So adorable.  I thought these pinwheel girls looked so cute and they had so much fun with them that I had to share them with you all.

I think this is one of my favorite images from the day.  Kids are always the best in front of the camera as they don't try to be anything other than who they are and I think this image captures the three all being themselves.  Thank you Mark for having me and I am so excited for you and Candice and the new baby to be!

My beautiful wife and I are celebrating 4 years of marriage today!  I have to say that it has flown by so fast.  It seems like yesterday that we were anxiously waiting for our wedding to come.

I have to say that marriage has been an amazing adventure.  I believe in love and in love that lasts.  Yes, it takes work and more importantly commitment but being with the one that you love has to be one of the greatest gifts in this life.  I want to say thank you to my wife for loving me the way she does and for putting up with my OCD and constant craziness.  I think that the most important aspect of marriage is being able to forgive one another and always trying to see the intent of your spouse in any situation.  My wife has had such grace on me over these years and my prayer is that I do the same for her.

Kid- I love you and am so excited to spend many more years with you!!

Thank you to Chenin Boutwell for these amazing images of Kara and I.
